(إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئُونَ وَالنَّصَارَى مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً فَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ)
(إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئِينَ وَالنَّصَارَى مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ) [Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews and the Sabeans and the Christians – whoever believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness – no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve.]
They will not grieve over what they left behind of this world and its life, after they witness what Allah has honored them with from His abundant reward.
The happiness and salvation of all lie in one path and one principle, which is belief in Allah, the Last Day, and righteous deeds.
(مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ) [whoever believed in Allah and the Last Day] – for him is salvation. (فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ) [no fear will be upon them] regarding the frightening matters they will face, (وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ) [nor will they grieve] over what they left behind of them.
