(تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ)
(تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ) You will recognize in the faces of the righteous, whose description Allah has given, (نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ), meaning its beauty, luster, and radiance.
The exegetes said: When you see them, you will know that they are among the people of bliss, due to the beauty and light you perceive.
(تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ) That is, you will recognize, upon looking at their faces, the splendor of bliss, meaning the characteristic of luxury, joy, and eminence, from the immense bliss they are in.
Ata' said: That is because Allah the Almighty has increased their beauty and their complexions in a way that no describer can describe.
Bliss and a good heart manifest as freshness and radiance in the face.
The emotions that occur within the soul show their effect.
The continuous succession of pleasure and joy bestows upon the face light, beauty, and delight.
