(24) "Cast into Hell every persistent disbeliever, stubborn opponent."
The driver brought him to the plain of reckoning, and when the witness testified against him, Allah Almighty commanded them to cast him into the Fire of Hell, and what an evil destination it is.
(فِي جَهَنَّمَ): Meaning the Fire that receives the one cast into it with what he used to treat Allah's servants: arrogance, grimness, fanaticism, and hostility towards the truth and its people.
(أَلْقِيَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ): disbelieving in blessings and the Bestower of blessings (عَنِيدٍ): hostile to the truth, an enemy to its people.
He disbelieved in himself and caused others to disbelieve through his misguidance.
(كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ): one who frequently denies the truth, (عَنِيدٍ): an opponent of the truth and the effort for truth, opposing it with falsehood despite knowing it.
(عَنِيدٍ): The 'aneed is one who has reached the extreme in opposition, and who opposes with the utmost opposition. It is also said: he is one who stubbornly resists and opposes after the truth has become clear to him.
(كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ): Meaning one who is excessive in concealing the truth and showing hostility towards its people without any proof, due to his admiration for what he possesses and his persistence in it out of tyranny and arrogance over what others possess, disdaining them, whoever they may be.
(كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ): Every disbeliever in Allah Almighty's blessings.
(كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ): Meaning one who is hostile to the truth despite knowing that it is the truth.
He refused to submit and yield to the truth.
