(وَمَا هُوَ إِلاَّ ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ)
(And it is nothing but a reminder for the worlds) This is a refutation of that wicked, unjust accusation uttered by the mouths of these polytheists, and it is a confirmation for the Prophet in his stance.
(And it is nothing but a reminder) meaning the Qur'an and the effort of the Qur'an is nothing but an honor (for the worlds), meaning all of them, their high and their low. There is no one among them but knows that there is nothing that resembles it in the majesty of its meanings, the sweetness of its words, the grandeur of its composition, and the subtlety of its understanding.
