التفسير التبليغي
(Or do they intend a plot? But the ones who disbelieved – they are the ones who will be plotted against.) (42)
﴿أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا﴾ "Or do they intend a plot?" – in destroying the religion. ﴿فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هُمُ الْمَكِيدُونَ﴾ "But the ones who disbelieved – they are the ones who will be plotted against" – meaning, their plot will encompass them, and its evil consequences will rebound upon them.
﴿أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا﴾ "Or do they intend a plot?" – meaning, did these people intend a plot against Allah's religion, i.e., cunning and deception?
Indeed, by this, they are only plotting against themselves, and depriving themselves of this abundant good that is extended to them.
Trust in Allah and proceed with what He has commanded you.
