(And the palm trees, towering high, with clusters of dates piled one above another) (Qur'an 50:10)
Allah singled out the palm tree because it is the noblest of trees, and for this reason, the believer was likened to it, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, among trees, there is a tree whose likeness is like that of the believer."
(And the palm trees) require the work of a laborer every year.
(And the palm trees, towering high) meaning: tall.
(with clusters of dates piled one above another) meaning: it has clusters of dates arranged, some upon others.
