(So in what statement after it will they believe?) (50)

The conclusion of the Surah reveals their denial of the Qur'an and what it contained of the details of the effort.

The interrogative style emphasizes the exalted status of this complete discourse in conveying the message.

The root of their denial of the Qur'an is, in fact, their denial of the Day of Judgment.

(So in what statement after it will they believe?) meaning, after this discourse which reminds them of the Resurrection and calls them to obey the commands of their Lord with the clearest words and the most compelling argument.

(So in what statement after it) meaning, after the discourse of Allah and the signs He made clear to them, (will they believe?) meaning, will they renew their faith.

(So in what) discourse could be clearer and more eloquent in its impact on souls, that they might believe in it, if they do not believe in this discourse?

(So in what) persuasive speech will they believe if they do not believe in these persuasive subtleties that emanate from the mouths of the diligent scholars?

Since the Surah strongly rebuked the disbelievers from its beginning to its end, in the ten mentioned aspects, and urged submission to the true religion, it concluded by expressing wonder at the disbelievers and clarifying that if they do not believe in these rational proofs after their manifestation and clarity, (So in what statement after it will they believe?).
