(أُوْلَئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ)
The punishment inflicted upon these wrongdoers is a general, crushing punishment: (أُولَئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ).
(جَزَاؤُهُمْ) meaning: their recompense for their deeds is (أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ).
The curse came upon them by right and from a high command; because it is a curse, and the curse of Allah is His expulsion and removal of them from His mercy, meaning that He, glory be to Him, expelled them and removed them from His mercy.
The curse of Allah, the curse of His angels, and the curse of all mankind encompassed them due to their fragmentation and their attempt to tear apart the efforts of the Ummah.
The curse is expulsion from mercy.
(أُولَئِكَ) those who are characterized by the most heinous attributes, (جَزَاؤُهُمْ) meaning the recompense for their actions, is (أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ وَالمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ) because of the wickedness of their souls and the ugliness of their disposition in opposing the efforts of guidance.
Due to the atrocity of their betrayal of the religion, the listener yearned to know their recompense, so it was said: (أُولَئِكَ) meaning the distant, the hated ones, (جَزَاؤُهُمْ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ وَالمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ).
Everyone with knowledge distances them because of their evil deeds, for their exchange of good for bad.
Those are whose hearts are sealed.
