Tafsir

التفسير التبليغي

(لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ) (35)

(لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ) according to their desires.

The first of the blessings: Paradise.

(لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ): meaning what their souls desire and what their eyes delight in.

They will be, at every moment, in an increase beyond their hopes.

(وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ): Allah shows His servants the increase: "Do you wish for anything more that I may give you?"

(وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ): It is said that the "increase" (al-mazeed) refers to the spouses they will be given from the wide-eyed houris.

(وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ): It is said that the "increase" (al-mazeed) refers to gazing upon the Noble Face of Allah.

(وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ): Anas ibn Malik said: It is the vision of Allah the Almighty every Friday.

"Indeed, a man in Paradise will recline in Paradise for seventy years before he moves, then a woman will come to him and tap him on his shoulder. He will look and see his face in her cheek, purer than a mirror. And indeed, the least pearl on her will illuminate what is between the East and the West. She will greet him, and he will return the greeting. He will ask her: 'Who are you?' She will say: 'I am from the 'increase' (al-mazeed).' And indeed, she will have seventy garments upon her, the least of which is like the Nu'man from Tuba (a tree in Paradise). His gaze will penetrate them until he sees the marrow of her shins from behind that. And indeed, she will have crowns upon her, and the least pearl from them will illuminate what is between the East and the West."
