(تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرَى لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُنِيبٍ) (8)
These are verses that evoke in the soul a feeling of awe for the Creator's greatness.
The 'Muneeb' (returning/repentant) servant is one who benefits from the insight and remembrance.
﴿تَبْصِرَةً﴾ meaning: We did that as an enlightenment and a sign of Our power, ﴿لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُنِيبٍ﴾ meaning: for every servant who turns back to Allah the Almighty, contemplating His power.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to inform them of a gathering and assembly (resurrection) after which there would be eternal reward and eternal punishment, but they denied that.
