(فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلاوَمُونَ) (30)
Some of them blamed others for withholding the rights of the poor. "Why did you do that?"
(فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ)... meaning there was a conversation among them where each one blamed himself, just as he blamed his companions.
(فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهم عَلى بَعْضٍ يَتَلاوَمُونَ) Some of them started blaming others: "You were the one who came up with this idea," and the other would say: "And you were the one who agreed to it," and the third would say: "And you were the one who encouraged us to do it."
(فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهم عَلى بَعْضٍ يَتَلاوَمُونَ) meaning some of them blamed others. This one would say to that one: "You advised us with this opinion," and that one would say to this one: "You scared us with poverty," and the third would say to another: "You are the one who enticed me to accumulate wealth." So, this is the mutual blaming.
