التفسير التبليغي

(يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ) (23)

﴿يَتَنَازَعُونَ﴾: Meaning, some of them offer a cup of wine to others, one hands it to his companion, and the other takes it from him, in joy and playfulness, delighting and socializing, to complete their happiness.

﴿يَتَنَازَعُونَ﴾: Meaning, they and their companions exchange a cup containing wine, this one taking the cup from that one's hand, and that one from this one's hand, with complete desire and longing.

﴿لَا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ﴾: Meaning, in its drinking, they speak nothing but good words. They do not engage in idle talk or vulgar speech during their drinking.

﴿وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ﴾: Meaning, there is nothing in it that leads them to sin, so they speak only with wisdom and the best of words, and they do what noble people do.

﴿لَا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ﴾: Their minds are not affected, so nothing that deviates from the bounds of etiquette and uprightness occurs among them. The wine of Paradise does not cloud the mind of its drinker, causing him to speak idly or sinfully.
