(إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ارْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ الْهُدَى الشَّيْطَانُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَى لَهُمْ) (25)
(إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ارْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهِمْ) means they turned back, retreated, after the guidance had become clear to them, meaning after the path of guidance had become manifest to them.
An apostasy for which there is no Abu Bakr!
(إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ارْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهِمْ) meaning: they reverted to what they were upon, which is disbelief, (مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ الْهُدَى) meaning: the truth.
They conspire with the Jews.
The guidance became clear to them, yet they rejected it.
(الشَّيْطَانُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ) meaning: Satan made their apostasy appealing to them, (وَأَمْلَى لَهُمْ) meaning: and he extended their hopes and aspirations.
Satan made it seem appealing to them that such compliance in some matters would not nullify their guidance.
(وَأَمْلَى لَهُمْ) meaning: he deceived them with the length of worldly life.
