Tafsir

التفسير التبليغي

(28) So when he saw his shirt torn from behind, he said, "Indeed, it is of your cunning. Indeed, your cunning is great."

﴿فَلَمَّا رَأَى قَمِيصَهُ قُدَّ مِنْ دُبُرٍ﴾ It is as if he had not seen that before, or had not reflected upon it. So when he became aware of it, ﴿قَالَ إِنَّهُ مِنْ كَيْدِكُنَّ إِنَّ كَيْدَكُنَّ عَظِيمٌ﴾.

Whoever has Allah with him should not worry. Be with Allah, and miracles will astound you.

Whoever wrongs you while you are striving has honored you, because they have brought Allah's proximity and companionship to you.

The environment of palaces and luxury is agreeable to the self, but it does not nurture the caller (to Allah).

His saying ﴿فَلَمَّا﴾ means immediately upon seeing it, what happened, happened.

﴿فَلَمَّا رَأَى قَمِيصَهُ قُدَّ مِنْ دُبُرٍ﴾ he recognized his wife's treachery and Yusuf's innocence.

By the blessing of the shirt, the matter was closed.

Sometimes, with a simple thing, your innocence becomes apparent.

The shirt of innocence is "salvation."

﴿إِنَّهُ مِنْ كَيْدِكُنَّ﴾ and the address is to her and to all women.

They removed his shirt at the well, and she tore his shirt at the palace.

﴿إِنَّهُ مِنْ كَيْدِكُنَّ﴾ The cunning of women is great in relation to men.

﴿إِنَّهُ مِنْ كَيْدِكُنَّ﴾ means from your stratagem.

One of the scholars said: "I fear women more than I fear Satan, because Allah Almighty said: ﴿إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا﴾ [An-Nisa': 76], and He said to them: ﴿إِنَّ كَيْدَكُنَّ عَظِيمٌ﴾."

It is said that the one who said "Indeed, your cunning is great" was the Aziz of Egypt, not Allah Almighty.
