New Insights into Surah Sad
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. All praise is due to Allah, who guided us to faith, by bestowing upon us the Quran. All praise is due to Allah, who honored us by following the endeavor of His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). By the power and strength of Allah, I have authored this book and named it "New Perspectives on Surah Sad." In it, by the grace of Allah, I have included the important points from various interpretations and added numerous benefits. I have incorporated unique gems I found within the pages of old manuscripts and additional insights I derived with my limited intellect. Between the covers of this book, you will find illuminating benefits and scattered pearls, presented with elegant expressions and symbolic allusions, whose meanings will delight those who comprehend them. "Indeed, this is my brother" – my brother in faith, or in companionship. "Indeed, this is my brother" – the word "my brother" indicates that he is not an enemy. "Indeed, this is my brother" – two brothers in faith or in humanity; one of them has ninety-nine ewes, and the other has one ewe. "Indeed, this is my brother" – despite the dispute, he described him as "my brother," for disagreement never demolishes the walls of love. The etiquette of these two adversaries is evident in that this dispute did not stir up animosity between them. Reflect on what transpired between them in terms of dispute, for it did not diminish the meaning of brotherhood. There is no wickedness in dispute.
