(Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.) (19)
﴿كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا﴾ (Eat and drink) from what is delightful and pure.
﴿كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا﴾ (Eat and drink), meaning: from what your souls desire of delicious foods and drinks of all kinds.
﴿هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾ (in satisfaction for what you used to do) of struggles, sacrifices, giving, and generosity.
﴿هَنِيئًا﴾ (in satisfaction): For them is the hearing of the saying: ﴿هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾ (in satisfaction for what you used to do).
Everyone takes from the fruit of what they have done, and is fed from the harvest of what they have sown.
