مَـٰلِكِ یَوۡمِ ٱلدِّینِ

Tafsir

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) (4)

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) indicates the Hereafter.

(يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) is the Day of reckoning for all creatures, and it is the Day of Resurrection.

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) ... *Ad-Deen* (the Religion/Judgment) here means recompense. It is said: "As you judge, so shall you be judged," meaning: "As you recompense, so shall you be recompensed."

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) ... To Allah alone belongs the dominion on the Day of Recompense, purely, without any of His creation sharing it.

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) ... is a glorification from Allah for Himself, exalted be He in His loftiness.

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) means the Owner and Disposer of all affairs, the Owner of all matters.

On the Day of Recompense, no one will contend with Him.

The meaning of (مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) is that He owns its coming and its occurrence.

The Owner (Al-Malik) is He who owns everything; every created being is His possession, the Owner of dominion in the heavens and the earth, and in this world and the Hereafter.

The straight line is the shortest line connecting two points.

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) is an indication of belief in the Last Day.

(مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ) alone, and in His hand is the determination of the final destiny.
