(إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ) except what Allah wills, from that which does not fall under the obligation [of revelation and remembrance], so you forget it before its conveyance, and its performance was not obligatory upon him.
(إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَى) And He – glorified be He – knows the secret and the open.
(إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَى) He knows what you declare and what you conceal of your words and deeds, and what is apparent and what is hidden of your states.
He knows all your deeds, their secret and their public aspects.
(إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ) meaning: what is declared of speech and action, and (وَمَا يَخْفَى) of what is secret.
