Tafsir

التفسير التبليغي

(كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ) (26)

"Everyone upon it will perish" is a reminder of death and annihilation, to encourage turning towards good deeds for the abode of permanence, and to turn away from the abode of perishing.

(كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ) means: everything on the face of the earth will perish. And (وَيَبْقَى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ) means: the Possessor of Sovereignty, Grandeur, and Generosity, (ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ) means: the Possessor of Sovereignty, Grandeur, and Generosity, meaning: the Possessor of Generosity and Forgiveness.

(كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ) means: everyone on earth, be it humans, jinn, beasts, and all other creatures, will perish, die, and cease to exist.

A day will come when everything will perish... but the power of Allah does not perish.

The blessings of this world are destined for annihilation.

Everyone who comes to this world is destined to die.

Whenever He wills, He exercises His power after annihilating everything, because there is no annihilation for His Essence and no demise for His dominion.

The worldly life is brief and short... and the Hereafter is eternal and everlasting.

It is fitting to mention His permanence and everlastingness after informing of annihilation.
