(مِمَّا خَطِيئَاتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا فَأُدْخِلُوا نَاراً فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنْصَاراً)
(فَأُدْخِلُوا نَارًا): It is not that they *will enter* it, but rather that they *have already entered* it.
The realities begin to manifest after death.
(فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنْصَارًا): There is no helper except Allah.
(أُغْرِقُوا): Meaning by the flood (the Deluge). (فَأُدْخِلُوا نَارًا): Meaning a very immense fire.
They were punished in this world with drowning, and in the Hereafter with burning and despair from mercy.
