(وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِمْ مَوْعِداً)
The contemporary world remains deluded by divine respite, so it does not repent until it is encompassed [by punishment]. (وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِمْ مَوْعِدًا)
Injustice is one of the causes of the downfall of nations... Injustice leads to destruction!
(وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا) If they do not desist from their shameful actions and the evidence is established against them, then their destruction is inevitable.
The requirements of His (Allah's) justice must be fulfilled, and that is the "appointed time" in which the destiny of those who obeyed Him and submitted to His commands becomes manifest.
Trust in the promise, and do not ask about the appointed time! It is a matter of time!
(وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِمْ مَوْعِداً) This destruction refers to the severe wrath in social life that manifests itself on the face of the earth... And these deadly diseases are not far from us...!
Thus...!! Allah, glory be to Him, destroyed and continues to destroy the unjust cities. He destroyed them because of their sins, and what they clung to besides Allah did not benefit them.
Moses (peace be upon him) with the righteous servant...
Do not be arrogant towards the environment of faith...
