Tafsir

التفسير التبليغي

(And the Trumpet will be blown - that is the Day of the Warning.) (50:20)

﴿وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ﴾: No one knows the extent of its greatness and vastness except Allah the Almighty. It is the horn into which Israfil (peace be upon him) will blow for death. He has held the Trumpet in his mouth since the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sent, and he has bowed his forehead and inclined his ear, waiting for when he will be commanded.

﴿ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ﴾: Meaning, the day of the fulfillment of the promise.

﴿وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ﴾: For every soul (there will be) what Allah has promised it, according to its conduct and effort from the beginning of its life until the Day of Resurrection.
